Houses
Yitzhak Rabin students and staff belong to one of four YR Firecats houses: Bardelas (Green), Kfir (Yellow), Namer (Red) and Chatul-pere (Blue). House members earn points for their house in a variety of ways, related to: Academics, Arts, Athletics, Citizenship, Leadership, and Participation and School Spirit. Interim House Champions are declared at the end of Terms One and Two and the House Cat Award is a given to the top point-getting house in a "solemn" ceremony at the end of the school year. Each house has an appointed House Captain who encourages members to participate actively in all aspects of school life.
